‘Chairman Rich’ has masterminded a turnaround in Sheffield FC’s fortunes since taking over in 1999. At that point Sheffield FC were playing in front of ‘one man and a dog’ at the cavernous Don Valley stadium, with no fans, no cash and not much hope of making it to the 150th anniversary in 2007. But a combination of passion for the club and a shrewd business sense has seen the fortunes of the world’s oldest football club transformed. The club now
has a loyal fan base and an ever increasing army of worldwide members and ambassadors.

‘Jamesie’ is probably one of the longest loyal supporters of Sheffield FC. After contributing to the Club’s matchday programme for the best part of a decade, Stuart came on board with Sheffield FC in 2010 to take the publication to the next level, leading the design and editing team to produce a new style programme, the members’ newsletter and other printed media and the website. Along with his commitment to Sheffield FC, Stuart is also an ardent follower of Manchester City, Luton Town and Celtic, working for a Recruitment Agency in his spare time.

(England) Dominic Field,
Accounting

‘Dom’ has been with the club since 2008 having previously worked at Sheffield United for a number of years. Dom prepares the club accounts, cashflows and deals with companies house on compliance issues. He also watches over our crowd-funding campaign for Olive Grove and assists Richard Tims with all administrational issues.

(England) Chris Dolby,
Football & Foundation

‘Dolbs’ is the first Asian professional footballer in the UK with his debut in 1993 for Rotherham United. After taking the position as the First Team Manager of Sheffield FC Chris took over the Club’s Foundation programs and has developed the probably most innovative grass roots scheme of any amateur club worldwide. Chris will be the first to coach young kids at the Home of Football!

(Germany) Robert Zitzmann,
International Relations

‘Roberto’ also called the ‘Ginger German’ has joined the Sheffield FC Foundation in 2011 following his friendship to Chairman Rich. Born in Germany, having lived many years in Spain, USA and Ireland, Robert started playing the beautiful game at the age of 5. He is a Bayern Munich supporter and in charge of the Clubs international relations with clubs, fans, sponsors and media.

(Germany-Argentina) Jan-Henrik Gruszecki,
Fans & Media

‘Janni’ is a Borussia Dortmund supporter and independent journalist. He discovered Sheffield FC in 2012 while filming a documentary for the ZDF, a German TV station. Janni has completed Europe’s biggest crowd-funding project in sports collecting funds to recapture the life and story of BVB’s founder Franz Jacobi. Janni considers himself half Argentinian, after spending more than five years in Latinamerica for the love of football.

(Spain) Laura Galmes-Schwarz,
Design & Communication

“Laurita” is a half spanish half german football enthusiast that was born in Mallorca and has studied and worked in Barcelona, London and Hamburg. In the past few years she has been working for football governing bodies and clubs such as UEFA, Celtic FC, Schalke FC and the German Football Federation. She joined the Sheffield FC Team in 2014 with the goal of helping develope #theworldsfirst brand and charity campaign.

(Switzerland) Ruben Schöneberger,
Ambassador

Ruben Schönenberger was born in Switzerland in 1986 and has been a lifelong supporter of FC St.Gallen, the oldest Swiss football club. He’s commited to preserve the values of football and fan culture and is therefore involved in the biggest fan organisation and among the founders of SENF, the football magazine created by fans of the club, as well as among the founders of Fussballlichtspiele St.Gallen, the city’s first football film festival.
